The most important thing I've learned is to dare to dream and pursue those dreams for personal satisfaction and gratification; and not to get stagnate in life and keep it moving. The power of connections and influence.
I could have written more on the blog and used it as a tool to progress. This would have given me more to reflect on. Lesson learned: adapting to change and utilizing opportunities to grow.
This semester and course helped me to get back on track. After continuous let downs and set backs I needed a new avenue to get back on track and move forward. No matter what is pursued it takes work and dedication. All things are possible.
This was my first time blogging. This took me out of my comfort zone of writing privately. Also, with my experience in many situations that people are not interested in helping others or they were so far beyond reach that I stopped reaching out to mentors and so forth. I lost confidence in others in a sense of community and helping each other. I accepted double glass ceilings.
I liked the structure of the Leadership for Change the variety of learning mechanisms, he Professor's method of instructing, the hands on activities, and the interaction with other students. That was probably more than three things I liked.
What I liked least is the fact that I did not take the class for credit because of this, I did not put in as much effort in completing assignments and throughly reading. However, I will what I have learned in the course to move forward in pursing my touch tone.
I would suggest that this course be a required course. I would have liked to have had this course in my undergraduate studies. Another suggestion would be to teach the course on a graduate level.
This was an awesome class and I am grateful that I had the privilege of being apart of it.
