Exercise 1
Dream
I have always had the desire to do something big that craves attention, admiration and impact others. So my biggest dream is to become the mayor of the City of Chicago. Even bigger to become the first Black Female Mayor of the City of Chicago.
Touchstone
Pursue education in policy, law and, politics. Perhaps volunteer in some city office or attaining a position for the city. Perhaps becoming an Alderman. Study other female Mayor successes not know of any but I do know of City Managers that are female.
Role Model
Dorthy Brown: She has fought her way through city politics and has a similar educational background as I have.
Target
Within the next 5 to 8 years or sooner.
Exercise 2
My type is INFJ and I am amazed at how on point I was described. The Protector- wow every since I was a kid I found myself protecting or trying to protect others. Especially if I thought they were being bullied. I like to believe I am rare as outlined because oftentimes my thoughts don;t line up with the way others view situations. I could never have said these things about myself but my God they were on point.

What's your REAL touchstone? WHY do you want to be the mayor of Chicago? What's appealing about that to you? What's the feeling behind it?
ReplyDeleteI can have a hug impact on many people, get plenty of attention, bring unity to a city. Power and known success. I like politics, law, policy, and a challenge. I believe my leadership qualities would make me a great mayor.
